Oh yes !!! We got in right at 8am before holiday Labor Day rush and it was delightful. No notes Tried chilaquiles and the egg and pancake breakfast . The coffee refills were piping hot and frequent . Classic Dinner vibes and servers had great energy We will be back to try more things

Visiting Long Beach and saw near the airport. Good food, quick friendly service. Not the prettiest place for sure but sometimes a decent meal is what you want. Good for the little ones as they have a train running above the perimeter of the walls. Small line of people waiting outside so that was a good sign. If you're looking for a good meal and dont mind the modest surroundings, Sunrise is a good stop.

I have driven past this place several times and it always seemed busy. I finally decided to give it a shot since I had some free time in the morning. Parking was tight though. The customer service is excellent, however the food is not worth the long lines and the wait. The food is not bad or terrible. I just wouldn’t wait more than 20 mins for a seat. I had the beef machaca with corn tortillas and coffee. The food was decent but you could tell the tortillas were heated in the microwave .

I stopped in for a cup of coffee and decided to have a light breakfast. The menu has a wide variety from open-faced turkey sandwiches with mashed potatoes, smothered in gravy to chilaquiles. All the food that passed by looked and smelled amazing and the portions were generous. I love to support locally owned and operated businesses. With their price point, customer service and menu offerings, Sunrise is definitely going to be one of my new go-to places in Lakewood/Long Beach, CA area.

This was a cute little cafe restaurant. I liked the little train that went around near the top of the roof from the inside. Very cozy and the staff was very accommodating and nice. They all were helpful and prompt and all my request. The food was delicious. I will have to return with my family the next time

I highly Recommend this place for breakfast... I ordered the ABC omelette, which is avocado, bacon and cheese. It was delicious. The prices aren't bad either and the portions are huge. You get your food really fast and everybody that works there is very nice. Try it for yourself you will not be disappointed!!

What a surprise. Driven by this place hundreds of times, but never could eat here since it was in the evening. Today was that day and I must say it was quite good. Their veggie omelette is big, nice generous portion, which I added corn and zucchini in addition. What was nice was the veggies were sautéed perfectly and not mushy. Perfection. Ordered a side of grits, which is hard to find nowadays, was flavorful and not dry, just a tad bit runny. They just need better forks. Good food needs good cutlery. Also, if using a microwave, either cut the bell wire, or cover it up. Cheapens the brand. Service was nice and friendly A nice new addition to the breakfast rotation. Mr owner: piece of advice, instead of checking the register when you walk in, try engaging your guests.

I've lived in Long Beach since 2008 and this was my first visit. Cute little cafe with a decent menu listing. I was greeted and seated when I walked in. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak and home fries. Steak was flavorful and home fried were good. It came with eggs but I didn't want any. Coffee was good but what I really enjoyed was the train that circles the interior of the cafe. I definitely would return again.
